Mr. James Alan Simmons, age 59, a resident of Lockesburg, Arkansas died Monday, June 11, 2012 at his home.

 

He was born July 4, 1952 in De Queen.  He was a truck driver and a member of the First Baptist Church in Lockesburg.

 

Mr. Simmons was preceded in death by his parents, C.O. "Pud" and Bobbie Joyce Shinn Simmons and one son, Levi Alan Simmons.

 

He is survived by his wife, Sheila Webb Simmons; two daughters, Lisa Simmons of Lockesburg and Crystal Molina of Athens, Arkansas; one brother, Ronnie Simmons also of Lockesburg; five grandchildren, Shandra Curtis, Austin Curtis, Logan Quinn, Triston Simmons and Kason Halter; one brother-in-law, Wendell Webb; five nephews, Jessie Simmons, Jacky Simmons, Clifton Simmons, Matthew Webb and Kendall Webb and one niece, Hope Webb.

 

Graveside Funeral Services for Mr. Simmons will be held at 10:00 a.m., Wednesday, June 13, 2012 in the Coulter Memorial Cemetery in Lockesburg with Rev. Jack Gilliland officiating, under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.

 

The family will receive friends from 6:00-8:00 p.m., Tuesday, June 12th at the funeral home.
