Mrs. Nellie Ruth Rogers Dailey, age 97, a resident of Hot Springs, Arkansas and formerly of De Queen died Sunday, July 15, 2012 in Hot Springs.
She was born July 9, 1915 in Hallsville, Texas. She was the retired owner of Dailey’s Antiques and a lifelong member of the Church of Christ.
Mrs. Dailey was preceded in death by her parents, Claude T. and Effie Williamson Rogers; her husband, Aubrey Lee Dailey; a son, Stanley Brian Dailey and a daughter, Starla Dean Dailey.
She is survived by three daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Shirrell Sparks of Eustace, Texas, Vicky and Wilmer Clifton of Canton, Texas and Linda and Michael Shaw of Cleburne, Texas; five sons and daughters-in-law, Mike Dailey of Arlington, Texas, Bernard and Anita Robinson of Coppell, Texas, Dale and Judy Dailey of Texarkana, Texas, Donald and Katherine Dailey of Malvern, Arkansas and Tom and Peggy Dailey of De Queen, Arkansas. She is also survived by a daughter-in-law, Charlotte Dailey of Texarkana as well as a large number of grandchildren, great grandchildren, great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews.
Funeral Services for Mrs. Dailey will be held at 2:30 p.m., Wednesday, July 18, 2012 in the De Queen Church of Christ with Van Ledbetter officiating. Burial will follow in the Redmen Cemetery under the direction of Wilkerson Funeral Home.
